π‘ Family Hub β Terms of Use
Last updated: 1 October 2026 Β· Contact: tarekkaraman@gmail.com or Help & feedback inside the app
These terms are an agreement between you and Karaman Ventures ("we", "us"), who operates Family Hub ("the app"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Who can use Family Hub
You must be 18 or over to create or join a family account. The adult who creates the account confirms they are the parent or legal guardian of every child they add (or has that parent's permission), and is responsible for the profiles in the account and for how children use the app. Children use Family Hub only through a profile a parent manages, and we recommend a grown-up stays involved β especially in the AI Studio and anything shared outside the family. Keep your login and parent PIN secure; you're responsible for activity in your account.
The service
Family Hub is an organiser for your household. We may add, change or remove features, and we may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk. Some features rely on third-party services (such as AI, events and maps) that can change or be unavailable.
Your content and the community rules
What you add stays yours. You give us a limited licence to store it, process it and show it to the people you choose β your family, the Village, or anyone with a link you share β only so the app works. You must have the right to share anything you post.
In the Village, in reviews and in shared games, please: be kind; don't post photos, names or private details of other people's children; don't share anything unlawful, hateful, sexual, violent, harassing or misleading; don't spam or advertise; and don't post material you don't own the rights to. Tap π© Report on anything that breaks these rules. We review reports, may remove content without notice, and may suspend families who break the rules repeatedly.
Copyright complaints (DMCA)
We respect the rights of creators. If you believe something in Family Hub infringes your copyright, send us a notice with: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) the work you believe is infringed; (3) where the material is in the app (for example the Village post or the shared-game link) so we can find it; (4) your contact details; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use isn't authorised by the owner, its agent or the law; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for them.
Where to send a notice: email tarekkaraman@gmail.com, or use π© Report in the app.
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, you can send us a counter-notice with the details the law requires. We close the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.
AI features
The AI Studio and the family assistant create content automatically. It can be wrong, odd or not quite what you wanted, so please check anything important and supervise children. Don't use AI features to create content that breaks these rules or anyone else's rights. Credits are used only when a creation succeeds; they have no cash value.
Plans, the free trial, subscriptions and renewals
- Free β the core app is free.
- Free trial β the Family+ trial needs no payment details and never turns into a paid plan by itself. When it ends, your family is back on Free unless you choose to subscribe.
- Family+ paid by card β a subscription that renews automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period, at the price shown when you subscribed, until you cancel. Before you pay we show the price, the renewal period and how to cancel, and ask you to confirm.
- Cancelling β cancel at any time from βManage or cancelβ on the Plans page, from Help & feedback, or by emailing tarekkaraman@gmail.com. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Family+ until the end of the period you've already paid for. There are no cancellation fees. Deleting your account doesn't cancel a card subscription by itself β please cancel it first, or ask us to.
- Price changes β we'll tell you before a new price applies to your subscription, so you can cancel first if you prefer.
- PayPal β a PayPal payment is a one-off payment and doesn't renew automatically.
- App Store β purchases in the iOS app are billed by Apple under Apple's terms. They renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends, in Settings β Apple ID β Subscriptions.
- AI credit packs β one-off purchases; credits don't expire.
- Founding Family price β families who join at a Founding Family price keep it for as long as their subscription stays active.
- Refunds β if you're a consumer in the UK or EU, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of subscribing; if you asked us to start straight away, we may keep an amount for the time you used. Otherwise payments are non-refundable except where the law requires. None of this affects your statutory rights.
Deleting your account
The family's owner can delete the account and all its data at any time from Admin β β οΈ Delete this account; this is permanent. A grown-up who joined someone else's family can remove their own login in the same place. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to shared posts.
Safety features are not an emergency service
Emergency numbers, location check-ins, safe zones, health cards and reminders are aids only. They depend on your devices, your connection and the information you enter, and they can fail or be out of date. In an emergency, call your local emergency number directly. Family Hub doesn't give medical, legal or financial advice.
Disclaimers and liability
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses or for loss of data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; if a change matters, we'll update the date above and let you know in the app before it applies. Questions: tarekkaraman@gmail.com or Help & feedback in the app.
