Yes — the daily-use core (calendar, lists, meals, chores & pocket money, holidays, games) is free forever for up to 5 family members, and you get 300 AI credits to play with. Family+ adds the power tools and 500 fresh credits monthly, with a 30-day free trial.
⚡How do AI credits work?
Creating with AI uses credits: a question ~2, a picture ~10, a game ~25, a video ~60. You always see the cost before you create, and credits are only spent when it works. Run out? Top up from AED 10, or let your Family+ monthly credits refill you.
🕹️Can kids really make their own games?
Really. They describe a game — "a penguin jumping icebergs" — and the Studio builds a playable, touch-friendly mini-game right inside the hub, saved to the family gallery so everyone can play and beat each other's scores. All kid-safe by design.
🧠Which AI models does it use?
The Studio orchestrates the best model per job — Claude 5.5 for answers & game code, Gemini (Nano Banana 2) for pictures, Seedance for video, Suno for songs — automatically, always the best value. Want extra brainpower on a game? Flip the ✨ Extra clever switch. Grown-up nerds welcome.
📱Do we need to buy a screen or hardware?
No. Unlike wall-calendar products that cost AED 600–2,500 up front, Family Hub runs on the phones, tablets and computers you already own — and you can cast today's plan to any TV with Wall Display mode.
🔑How does my family get in?
You get your own private link. Open it on each person's device, enter your family passcode once, and you stay signed in. Kids get a kid-safe view; grown-up areas sit behind a parent PIN.
🔒Is our data private?
Each family's hub is its own separate data space, protected by your family passcode. Your data is never shared between families or sold. AI requests go through our servers with no keys or personal data exposed to the browser.
💳How do we pay for Family+ or credits?
The free trial needs no card and never charges you. If you then choose Family+, you pay by card or through the App Store (coming online now — early-access families get Family+ features free meanwhile). Annual saves 24% (AED 274/year ≈ AED 23/month). Subscriptions renew automatically each month or year until you cancel; cancel anytime — you keep Family+ to the end of the period you paid for, then drop back to Free and your data stays.
🔄Does it sync with my phone's calendar?
Both ways. Subscribe to the Hub's calendar link in Apple, Google or Outlook and everything you add shows up on your phone automatically. Connect an Apple iCloud calendar (with an app-specific password) for true two-way sync — move an event in the Hub and it moves on everyone's Apple Calendar too.
🧑🍼Can our nanny or helper have access?
Yes — add a nanny, cook, driver or housekeeper as House Help and tick exactly which areas each one can see. They get their own tile on the sign-in screen and start with nothing financial or private.
🎵Can the kids make an AI song?
Yes — in the AI Studio they describe a song, pick a genre, mood and voice, then write their own lyrics (or let the AI draft them) and it composes a track they can play right there. Like everything in the Studio, it's kid-safe and parent-controlled.
